Members of this working group include criminal defense attorneys or other legal professionals who provide direct legal services to drug offending women and family members and/or indigent populations, prosecutors who have drug and/or women-oriented caseloads, local, state, and federal judges, law professors with an interest in gender-related legal issues, and lawyers engaging in "impact litigation" from women's rights, civil rights, racial justice, children's rights, educational equity, human rights, and civil liberties advocacy organizations.

This working group will discuss legal issues surrounding drug policies, laws and sentencing schemes that negatively impact women and their families and conceptualize ways to use the law to advance appropriate reforms.
